SOCIAL & ENVIRONMENTAL RESPONSIBILITY
Burst Of Magic Social Responsibility.
We strongly believe in social responsibility.
We strongly believe in supporting The Australian Economy and Australian small businesses.
Wherever possible all of our products and gifts are sourced from local Australian suppliers.
In 2019/2020 a considerable amount of these businesses were severely impacted by either Bush fires and/or drought. The Australian economy as a whole has been severely impacted by COVID-19.
With your support we can help these businesses recover and thrive.
Everyone loves a discount and receiving money off. We would love to offer discounts , but all we ask in return is that some of the money that you save be donated to an Australian Charity.
Below are some of the links to the Charity's we support but everyone has their own preferences.
Modern Day Slavery.
We will not source or condone any products from factories where modern day Slavery is used i.e sweatshops.
We will not source any products from companies that in the past have attributed their success to collaboration with dictatorships.
We believe that in these modern days where we are all so busy, what a different world it could be if we were all kinder and less judgmental to others.
We active members of the Pro Environment Balloon Alliance (PEBA). We are committed to driving proactive, environmentally responsible change within the industry for the responsible use and disposal of balloons.
PRO ENVIRONMENT BALLOON ALLIANCE
PEBA is Australia's largest balloon industry association formed to be an advocacy body to promote positive changes in balloon industry practices, community educations, corporate governance and to be a consultative body for legislative policy relating to balloons.
PEBA members are industry professionals who do NOT support, condone or facilitate the organised release of balloons. Visit the PEBA website for more information.
We use Qualatex Latex Balloons, all Qualatex latex balloons are made from rubber trees located in plantations that are Rainforest Alliance Certified™.
LATEX BALLOONS ARE NOT PLASTIC
Latex balloons are a plant-based product made from natural rubber which does breakdown. However, when balloons become litter they don't degrade sufficiently or quickly enough to prevent possible risk or harm to wildlife.
Eliminating the deliberate release of balloons and promoting the responsible use and disposal is vital for effective environmentally responsible change.
Members of the balloon industry share concerns about the environmental impacts of marine debris. The controversy continues however about the actual level of risk or harm to marine life from balloon litter.
PEBA is driving environmentally responsible change and is committed to reducing balloon litter and any potential effects on wildlife by eliminating the deliberate release of balloons.
Banning the deliberate release of balloons and promoting the responsible use and disposal is vital for effective environmentally responsible change.
Please stay safe and thank you for your support
